Color Strategy for Professional Creatives
Tuesdays (6:30-8:30pm EST) & Thursdays (6:30-8:00pm EST)
June 28th-September 19, 2026 (8 Students Max)
In this advanced live course, students will explore the psychology, cultural impact, and forecasting of color through a multidisciplinary lens combining design, branding, trend analysis, emotional intelligence, and visual storytelling. Throughout the course, students will learn how color influences consumer choices, spatial perception, entertainment, fashion, hospitality, wellness, and cultural movements.
Students will develop a deeper understanding of how color trends emerge, why certain colors dominate specific eras, and how to build emotionally compelling and culturally relevant palettes. Through creative exercises, trend analysis, case studies, and conceptual development, students will strengthen their creative instincts while learning how to use color intentionally rather than instinctively.
By the end of the course, students will have developed their own color concepts, trend narratives, and professionally presented palette directions that can be integrated into future creative projects, branding, entertainment, interiors, fashion, or experiential work.
PREREQUISITES: Students should already work within a creative field or possess a strong visual sensibility and basic knowledge of creative software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Procreate, Canva or equivalent tools. Strong conceptual thinking and curiosity about visual culture are highly encouraged
